In force from August 2026. Publisher: the team behind botifyai.net.
The Short Version
- You can read every page of botifyai.net without telling us anything about yourself.
- There are no accounts, no logins and no payments, so there is no personal file on you here.
- We do see the ordinary technical trail of a visit, and we use cookies to count readers and credit referrals.
- We never sell personal data and we never send marketing email.
- One message to [email protected] is enough to exercise any right you have.
The rest of this page is the same thing said properly, for the situations where “properly” matters.
Scope
This notice applies to personal data processed through botifyai.net, a comparison and review site operated by us. It does not apply to any third-party website you reach from here. Those operators — including every service listed in our comparisons — decide for themselves what to collect, and their own notices govern from the moment you arrive with them.
Data, and Where It Comes From
From you, when you write to us: your message, your email address, your name if you give it. From your device, automatically: IP address, browser and version, operating system, device type, the pages requested and their timestamps, and the page or search that referred you. From cookies and pixels: identifiers that separate one visit from another, some ours and some belonging to advertising or affiliate partners.
Not collected, at all: payment data, government identifiers, health data, biometrics, precise location, or anything a registration form would normally ask for.
Purposes and Legal Grounds
Answering correspondence, operating and defending the site, measuring readership in aggregate to guide editorial decisions, verifying the referral commissions our partners report, and meeting legal obligations. Our legal ground is legitimate interest for the operational and editorial purposes, consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary, and legal obligation where a statute compels retention. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out.
Recipients
Our processors: hosting and content delivery, email, analytics, affiliate and advertising networks. Each is contractually confined to the service it performs for us. Others: only under legal compulsion, in the establishment or defence of legal claims, or on a transfer of the business, where this notice binds the acquirer. Data may be processed in the European Union or the United States; where a transfer leaves the EEA or the UK, it relies on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Retention and Security
Server logs are cycled within weeks. Correspondence is retained while a matter is live and cleared afterwards. Analytics is reduced to aggregates that identify nobody. Cookies expire on their own schedules, which run from a single session to around two years for the longest-lived partner identifiers. Protection comes from encryption in transit, patched and access-controlled systems, and above all from collecting very little. No online service can promise absolute security, and this one does not.
Your Rights
Access, a copy, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interest, plus withdrawal of consent — for readers in the EEA and the UK, with a right to complain to a national supervisory authority. Readers in California, Virginia and other US states with privacy statutes have their own equivalents, including opt-outs from sale, sharing for targeted advertising, and profiling, and a right of appeal against a refusal. Since we neither sell nor share in those senses, those opt-outs are confirmed rather than acted on.
Requests: [email protected]. Answered within a month, free of charge, with no disadvantage for having asked. If we cannot connect your request to any data we hold — the usual position for an anonymous visitor — we will tell you plainly rather than ask you to identify yourself further.
Children, Browser Signals, Changes
The site is for adults and we do not knowingly process data about anyone under 18; report it and we delete it. The site does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals, as no standard defines what such a response should be. When this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date; continuing to use botifyai.net after that date means you accept it, and if a change is material we will flag it rather than let it pass unnoticed.
